On September 24, 2015, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Mossad headquarters to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the intelligence agency’s founding. As reported by Arutz Sheva (Israel National News):
“We cannot solve the basic problems of the Middle East,” he said. “They are revealing themselves in their full force, and today our enemy is a double enemy: it is radical Shi’ite Islam that is led by Iran and its proxies, and the Sunni one, currently led by ISIS (Islamic State).”
“They fight each other, but they agree that we have no place in this Muslim region, as they see it. The alliances change, they rise and fall and rise again and send arms in various directions, including ours.”
“There is one certain rule,” Netanyahu intoned: “No one strikes an alliance with the weak. Our true defense in the years of the state’s existence and the 65 years that the Mossad is marking now, is the strength of the state of Israel. It is this strength that we maintain.”
“In the face of this changing world, Israel must be a power. Not just a regional power, but in some spheres, a world power.”[i]
We should note the context of these remarks. Netanyahu had just come from a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow who had probably read him the riot act in regards to the latter’s bombing runs outside of Damascus. What was Israel to do in the face of a colossus like Russia which was just about to start getting serious about ISIS, the Western coalition’s proxy army to overthrow Assad? Hence the lamentation that Israel is still “weak.”
All that aside, to the main point–Israel a world power? Seriously?
Why, I thought Israel was a little David surrounded by a sea of Arab Goliaths, a mere strip of land no bigger than the size of New Jersey? “No more than 9 miles wide at one point, with a population of six million Jews, two million Arab citizens and another four million Palestinians who can’t wait to push them into the sea?” Tell me that’s not the kind of mantra you’ve heard from Pat Robertson, throughout American churches, and on Christian media for decades now?
The Power of Hasbara (“Explaining”)
The dishonesty in this argument is the equation of land mass with political power. Even population size doesn’t matter so much as long as a given society is highly organized and focused on their purpose. And for Israel that purpose is something of a siege state, a fortress-like, settler-apartheid colonial power ruled over from its beginning by its military. If I am not mistaken, all but one of Israel’s Prime Ministers have come out of their military.
But it doesn’t stop there. The problem with Christian Zionists and other Israel apologists is that they also endorse the victimhood meme of an Arab jealousy and hatred so irrational and so intense it must be in their genes, ineradicable and demonic in origin.

Yet it’s an interpretation that demonstrates the power of Zionist media propaganda within modern Christianity because it comes straight out of the Talmud and not from the Bible. No less than Jesus Himself called His own nation “the synagogue of Satan” (Rev 2:9), and said to those Jews who didn’t believe on Him that they were “of [their] father the devil” (Jn 8:44). When the Pharisees had no way to explain His miracles except to accuse Him of doing them by the power of Beelzebub, He asked them why in the world would Satan want to exorcise his own minions (Mt 12:26)?
The Reality of Israeli Power
In a similar vein of logic we could ask today, Why in the world would Satan want to persecute a people so aligned with his own purposes, their own protests notwithstanding? If Israel’s power as a state was small in the past, it certainly isn’t anymore. Israel is reputed to have the fourth most powerful military in the world, some of the world’s most advanced weaponry (most of it extracted out of the US Congress), a nuclear arsenal of an estimated 200 to 400 hundred warheads, a small submarine fleet (built for them by Germany no less), a few ICBMs capable of reaching the Western Hemisphere, and a global spying network way out of proportion to its population, and with a reputation for being not a defensive one but an offensive one.
Yet this is not all that Mr. Netanyahu meant by “a world power.” As that forthright Messianic Jew Nathanael Kapner once put it, Israel is not so much a state as a state of mind. For a various number of reasons, no other nation on the earth has commanded such a zealous amount of rabid support, not just from diaspora Jews but from Gentile Zionists as well, resulting in a de facto power globally, and largely facilitated by the targeting of certain key industries especially.
As Kapner put it, “Every Jewish kid I grew up with knew three things, that the Jews own the banks, the media and Hollywood.” While the official line toward the outside world is to feign offense upon hearing what they would call a stereotype like that, in private it is the source of much mirth and mockery. Apparently they really get off on the sight of watching so many Gentiles squirm when they see what’s staring them in the face. Yet they lose their legendary Jewish sense of humor when the truth sometimes slips out, as LA Times writer Joel Stein recently found out.[ii]
But why were such industries targeted? Because when you own (or at least have a strong presence in the money system, and the means of controlling the collective consciousness of a society, you will eventually own pretty much everyone and everything in it (Rev 18:13,23).[iii] Zionism is not just the idea that “the Jews deserve a homeland,” but it goes further into two other levels as well. The second level is Zionism as a movement to fulfill the Biblical promise to Abraham that his descendants would occupy the land from the Mediterranean to the Euphrates (Gen 15:18), something that had already been fulfilled in the days of David and Solomon. It is an understanding present in Israel from their beginning that this is one of their goals no matter how many neighboring nations get in the way.[iv]
The third level is the occultic New World Order plan for world rulership and major population reduction. How many they will allow to live no one knows, including them. But God has other plans, revealed in the prophecies, and they will not get that far, even though a lot of damage will be done to themselves and the world.

Taking The Mask Off
The prophecies of course predict that these ambitions are doomed long before they get that far and will be limited mostly to the West. All the same, the damage done will not be little and it won’t be pretty. As is always the case with a phenomenon built on a religion riddled with confusion, illogic, delusion, obsession and deceit, there are a number of things that leave the average person reeling with perplexity trying to make sense of the mystery of all that’s going on right now.
One of them Netanyahu alludes to in his statement above. He claims Israel has a double enemy now, one Shia and one Sunni but the truth is she only has the one, the Shiites–Iran, Iraq, Syria and Hezbollah. These forces are a true enemy because they’ve understood for a long time that Israel is pursuing a deceitful game of pretend defensiveness to mask an aggressive, offensive agenda in their drive to be the only power left among the ashes of the Middle East.
This is the neo-con agenda, conceived within Israeli elite circles and virtually shoved down the throat of America to this day to carry out “regime-change” starting with seven Middle East nations—Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and the big prize Iran. General Wesley Clark, former Supreme Commander of NATO in a 2007 interview said he was told this was the plan by a top Pentagon general shortly after 9-11.[v]
As for these Sunni enemies “currently led by ISIS,” Netanyahu knows he’s lying through his teeth as usual. Not only are all the Sunni nations allied with Israel (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Qatar, the Gulf States, etc) in the campaign to topple Assad and replace him with a compliant puppet,[vi] but ISIS is itself a creation of Israel. Wesley Clark revealed this also in an interview this year—”ISIS got started through funding from our friends and allies… to fight to the death against Hezbollah.”[vii]
Now who would be so obsessed with destroying an organization begun after Israel’s reckless invasion of Lebanon in 1982? Israel which loves to follow the traditional Talmudic strategy of hiding in the background as much as possible, may have even come up with ISIS as a sarcastic acronym for “Israeli Secret Intelligence Service” since so many of these ISIS units are apparently led by Israeli officers.[viii]
(New World Talmudic) Order Out of Chaos
Israel has used its monetary and other means of influence to get the United States of course to do the lion’s share of this dirty work for them. If we don’t do this through outright invasion and occupation (Iraq) then we do it through bombing (Libya), leaving nations in chaos and ruins to this day (and with millions of refugees of course). And if “Shock ‘n Awe” doesn’t work, then we try the “kinder, gentler” preference of the Democratic Party—CIA color-coded revolutions (Georgia, Ukraine, etc.). This is not to say that the US doesn’t have its own parallel motives (oil, empire, etc.), but the fanatical reluctance to face our own limitations suggests a deeper religious agenda at work.
As for Assad in Syria a much more vicious approach was taken. This is not just organizing riots and suborning local Nazis as in Ukraine; in Syria it’s been the financing, arming, training and supplying of lusty young unemployed Muslim youth to merrily rape, terrorize, behead and crucify the Syrian people. To them has been added an estimated 30,000 other soldiers of fortune from around the world with leadership provided by Israeli, Qatari, Saudi and other officers and advisors. To this toxic mix add generous portions of wild accusations (“Assad is butchering his people,” “he’s gassing them, dropping barrel bombs,” etc.) solely provided by the “Syrian Observatory For Human Rights,” a one-man operation run out of a house in Coventry, England and a guy with some amazing access to the highest eschelons of power in Great Britain.
It’s the same old pattern. Milosevich in Serbia was accused of the exact same type things by the US including mass graves for defending his country from an invasion of Albanian bullies and gangsters. All this was done that we might “seek an occasion” against Milosevich (i.e., pick a fight–Gen 43:18), that we might destroy a successful socialist democracy and build a massive air base in Kosovo to fly drugs from Afghanistan into.
The Pipeline-istan Factor
In the background of all going on in Syria is the presence of a number of conflicting oil pipeline projects in the region by international consortiums. Instead of taking Mr. Putin’s advice and ironing out agreements everyone can live with, the United States has to have it all, don’t you know? The embarrassment in front of a watching world of Mr. Putin, who has a real threat of Islamic terrorism in his own backyard, calling our bluff in our pretend game of bombing ISIS for a year while actually supplying them and hitting Syrian infrastructure instead, has led to this recent most dangerous situation (the devastating Russian bombing campaign).
Putin is actually trying to destroy ISIS, the very proxies the US and Israel have created at great cost, and the uncomfortable hemming and hawing is a sight to behold. The pressure of Israel’s religious delusions of grandeur only super-charge this fatal flaw of American hubris. This is a trap of such irony and just desserts that God’s fingerprints can be seen all over it.
Mr. Netanyahu’s claim that Israel needs to become a world power is not the first time he’s expressed this sentiment. Apparently he told the same thing to Vice-President Biden a few years ago. But this is why he can entertain such an ambition, because Israel really does have a (tenuous) control over the decadent West it helped create. His problem is that the “kings of the East” are already beginning to rebel and are threatening to go off the petro dollar standard and issue their own gold-backed currencies. This is causing the City of London bankers to panic and is a big factor in this desperation to foment a new Cold War.
As Netanyahu drops the mask of weakness he also last spring admitted at the end of a bitter re-election campaign that he was never really serious about the peace process either. But he sure managed to “destroy many” in the process, especially Palestinians (Dan 8:25). He has become a master at hiding in the background of so much skullduggery, working through fall guy Western heads of state, covertly picking fights with opponents weaker than him and then blaming them for the conflict. You might think that the US taught him how to do that but the order was the other way around.
The US is now a disciple of the Talmud and not God’s way of peace found in the Gospel. As another prophecy puts it, the Antichrist shall be a “master of intrigue” (Dan 8:23 NIV). I shudder to think of what will happen if he manages to takeover the American government outright someday.
